Parenting is important in every child’s life. A child does not get to choose his/her parents. Parents have to be loving and caring towards children as they are their first teachers.

Education begins from day one and parents, being a part of the child’s life, have to take care that the upbringing of the child is proper and normal. Sometimes parents do get frustrated and irritated due to circumstances that they cannot control. A very good example is when a child wets their bed at an older age.

It gets a little frustrating for parents as it adds up to more work, and also the child ends up embarrassed. It should not always be considered to be a medical problem.

There are times when parents pamper children to an extent that the child becomes lazy. In the majority of cases, children simply sleep too deeply and do not feel the urge to go to the bathroom - and as a result they wet the bed. Parents don’t look at this situation normally, but simply react to it.  Parents need to understand the psychology of the child and act accordingly.

Find solutions to your child’s issues in a loving and caring manner and be patient with them. Don’t expect them to behave like an adult. It is essential for parents to guide their children in the correct manner.

A child is like clay - you can mold them the way you wish to; so be careful when parenting and always guide them with patience.
